I live outside of BC and wanted to send a birthday gift to my brother in law living on the Island. I decided a gift basket would be nice. After searching numerous websites I found Vancouver Island In A Box. They stood out for several reasons: a nice choice of gift items that weren’t all candy, they gave the option of building your own giftbox, and all the item choices were made locally. Plus, they could deliver the gift in time! Long story short is I made my selections and ordered online, specifying the preferred delivery date and boy did they deliver! A great looking giftbox was delivered on time and, based on feedback from the recipient, contained top quality, great tasting food items. Nothing but praise all around. So five out of five stars and highly recommended!

Vancouver Island in a Box has become my favourite gift to send to a friend or a family member. The service is excellent and the owner went over and above to make my gift choices work out perfectly. I sent a 10 item Premium build-your-own box to my cousin in the US who went through a traumatic life event and she said it brought a smile to her face each time she opened one of the gifts. She loved Victoria on a trip here many years ago and the box reminded her of good times. Today I sent a 5 item box to a friend in Wisconsin who just received a cancer diagnosis. It felt like a “happier” gift than flowers, chocolates or meal tickets. I hope that this friend will also be reminded of her fun visit to Victoria last summer. The items in the boxes are all really good, high end quality products and there is such a great variety of items to choose from. Highly recommend!!!
This was a box that we had given to our co-worker. When I asked her how she liked the box and what she liked her response was "I liked everything but that chocolate was the best that I have ever had." This speaks volumes to the quality of products that are used in these Vancouver Island Boxes.
