Canada Post Strike Update

Canada Post Strike Update

**We've established a partnership with UPS to handle most of our deliveries across Canada, and we'll continue to rely on them as much as possible to keep things running smoothly despite the strike.**

We understand that a Canada Post strike during the busy holiday season can be stressful, and we want to assure you that we're doing everything we can to minimize the impact on our customers. Here’s how we’re managing the situation:

For most deliveries off Vancouver Island, we are shipping via UPS.

For orders shipping to VICTORIA, you can select "pick up in store" at checkout to pick up your order at Hillside mall. We will be hosting a booth at the Mom Market on December 7th & 8th.

For any other ISLAND-based orders, we highly recommend selecting the "local delivery" option at checkout where applicable which will take place via our designated drivers.

### What’s Affected

**P.O. Box Deliveries:** Unfortunately, there are no alternative carriers that can deliver to P.O. Boxes. To ensure faster delivery, we recommend sending gifts to recipients with physical addresses. Any orders with a P.O. Box address may experience delays until the strike is over.

**Rural Deliveries:** No alternative carriers currently offer full coverage for rural addresses. If you're sending a gift to a remote or rural location, it’s likely to be affected by the disruption until the strike is over.

**USA/UK Deliveries:** For shipments going to the United States, there are no alternative carriers available. These deliveries will resume once the strike is over.

We sincerely appreciate you choosing Vancouver Island in a Box for your holiday gifting needs. If you have any questions or need assistance, don’t hesitate to reach out – we are here and happy to help you every step of the way.
